Register with the NJ State Police
Send us a picture of your state ID (NJ driver's license or official photo ID)
Send us a headshot of yourself for your SORA ID. (No head coverings, glasses, or masks are allowed in the photos.)

The NJ State Police will be monitoring virtual classes! You must be present for the entirety of the virtual class.

Please be sure to have a working computer (or other device) and a reliable internet connection to take your class.

Make sure your device is fully charged or plugged in so that your class doesn’t get disconnected.

Be sure to have paper and a pen to take notes and to write down things you might need to remember as there will be an exam at the end of the class.

If you are absent from any class, you will be required to pay the registration fee again and start the class over again.

Absences will only be excused in the event of a medical emergency or fire. In these cases, appropriate documentation will be required.
