INITIAL SORA training
Initial SORA Training class is 2 FULL DAYS.
If this is your FIRST TIME training for a SORA license, you MUST register with the State Police online. The Registration process only takes a few minutes. (We will help you with the registration process for the first time, if necessary.)
SORA training is a 3-Step process to be completed within a 30 day period:
Registration with the New Jersey State Police (NJSP)
Completion of a 24-hour training program with a NJSP certified instructor
Fingerprinting
Fingerprints are administered by Morpho Trust. Once you have completed all three steps, the State Police will issue you a SORA card via the mail within 15 business days depending on when your fingerprints have processed.
Application Fees for the State Registration (www.njsp.org) are as follows:
Security Officer Initial - $75.00 (Initial Application)
Fingerprint Fee - $61.44 (Initial Application)

Once you have completed the registration you will be provided with an application ID number/30 day certificate. You must bring this with you on the day of your class.

OUR SORA initial course FEE is $110.00
SORA Renewal
You will get a reminder from the state 90 days before your card expires. You must register with the state online for a fee of $77.49. Once you have completed the registration you will be given a number by the state. Bring this with you on the day of class.
